The Business of Photography

You love photography and that's why you want to attend Hallmark. We want you to earn a good living from what you love. That's why we insist that students apply themselves as diligently in our business classes as they do in our studios and labs. Whether your goal is to open your own photographic business or to work for someone else, the following courses will prepare you to use your skills and talents productively. Hallmark’s 1400 clock hour program is delivered throughout four sequential phases and is made up of two primary modules: the Art and Technique of Photography, and the Business of Photography. Within these two primary modules there are six courses of study which each and every student participates in. The Art and Technique of Photography includes Traditional Photography and Digital Photography; the Business of Photography includes Management, Marketing, Finance, and Personnel. Each of these six courses are supported by numerous specific classes.
