Michael Merritt, B.A., A.S., Photoshop ACE
Instructor

Over the past 10 years, Michael has been teaching both new and experienced photographers the ins and outs of working digitally. After receiving his B.A. in Mathematics from the University of Colorado, Boulder and his A.S. in Photography/Media Art from G.C.C. in Greenfield, Massachusetts, he began his career at Northampton High School teaching video production and photography. Currently in his seventh year as a faculty member at Hallmark Institute of Photography, Michael specializes in digital imaging workflow and retouching techniques. His passion is perfecting images. An Adobe Certified Expert in Photoshop and a member of the National Association of Photoshop Professionals, he is always excited to put into practice the latest tools Adobe has to offer photographers. Michael lives in Greenfield with his wife and son, and regularly visits Maine and Colorado, where family and travels are his favorite subjects to photograph.
