We're in beautiful Western New England at the base of the Berkshire Mountains, close to Williams College, Smith College, The University of Massachusetts, Amherst College, and Hampshire College. These nearby campuses give our students access to wonderful cultural and social opportunities, including art and photography exhibits, theater, dance, and music. The Clark Art Institute houses a magnificent collection of French Impressionist paintings. And the restored colonial village of Old Deerfield is one of America's treasures. Numerous artists and crafts-people living and working in the area add to the creative climate.
Do you love playing in the great outdoors as well as taking pictures of it? You can ski, rock climb, hike, canoe, swim, camp, and fish the Deerfield River, one of the region's finest trout streams.
Our surroundings provide a great place to train, and we're also an easy place to find. A public airport for small aircraft is right in our backyard. We're only about an hour and a half drive from Boston, a one hour drive from Hartford, Connecticut, and a three and a half hour drive from New York City. We think that puts us in the middle of just about everything.
