Jaleel King Headshot

At age 8, Jaleel King was shot by a neighbor with a shotgun who was annoyed over the sound of fireworks. King was left paralyzed, but he fought through that challenge — and every other challenge that has presented itself since. Overcoming great odds, Jaleel became a photographer and now runs his own photography business, shooting weddings, portraits, and city scenes.

He sees things from a different perspective, both figuratively and literally, which allows him to capture beautiful glimpses of life that most people take for granted. King said "I was led into a world that is beautiful and challenging at the same time! A world filled with raw emotion and randomness that make each moment and click of the shutter so unique!"  His approach to overcome life's challenges is to think "why not" instead of focusing on limitations, and that attitude is reflected in his work.
