"Growing up on a walnut ranch in central California, I only knew how to live the simple life. "Before I came to Hallmark I would look at magazines like Vogue and Harper's Bazaar and think, "I will never be able to take a photograph like those." Even on my first day I thought I would never be good enough and did not have the creativity that everyone thought I had. Though I had a blast through Phase One and Phase Two, I still didn't realize my potential. Portfolio Review was the most stressful day of my life. I was first and my family was late. Tony brought me up on stage and the announcer read that my portfolio was accepted. The judges then told me everything they loved about my photography, and had hardly anything bad to say. Now I have the confidence to be a professional photographer. Hallmark is amazing. It changed my life in so many ways, and the instructors don't even realize how thankful I really am.
