Empowering Dreams through Generosity
Thanks to the extraordinary financial contributions from Bob and Captain Nancy Bruce, we are able to provide substantial scholarships to deserving students. These scholarships not only recognize exceptional academic achievements and character but also highlight leadership potential within our aviation program. Each student who successfully passes their FAA General Certificate receives $5,000, with the possibility of earning an additional $10,000 as they complete further FAA certifications in Airframe and PowerPlant technologies.
Honoring Bob and Captain Nancy Bruce
Bob and Captain Nancy Bruce’s commitment to aviation education is truly remarkable. Their journey together began in 1980 at the Texas Flying Club in San Antonio, where Bob was a student pilot and Nancy was a flight instructor. Bob went on to found United Audio Recording, a nationally acclaimed advertising agency, while Captain Nancy became the fourth female pilot at Southwest Airlines, retiring after a distinguished 33-year career.
